A sonorous orgasm, a union of sensual voices to strong impact lyrics. Anger, obsession and erotism are melted to create a catchy project
The project, born at the beginning of 2008, is a product of the collaboration between Alex (.:I.S.K:.), from Portugal and Valentina, from Italy. This collaboration had its birthing point when Valentina wrote lyrics and recorded guest vocals on aktiv[E|H]ate's song, "Star Struck", under the name .:V.P.G:.
.Most recently responsible for creating harsh industrial / dark electro bands PsychotekTrauma and aktiv[E|H]ate, .:ISK:. has been involved in music for over 8 years, treading numerous styles, from industrial to
metal, ambient and many more.
.:V.P.G:. has been involved in the management world in the past. She helped bands finding contacts for gigs and performances and scouted bands for Italian managements and venues. She's a bellydancer too and you can see some movements during performances. |

Founded fifteen years ago by singer/producer/multi-instrumentalist PiaPale, the Berlin-based cabaret-industrial project Compulsory Skin processes the artist’s emotional inner works through the filter of hard electronics and multi-layered production to weave a saga of anger, pain and desire. Muscially, PiaPale's creations are often compared to a harder incarnation of Depeche Mode, an industrialized version PJ Harvey or Björk, or even more frequently, a female version of Nine Inch Nails. Vocally, PiaPale evokes the haunting feminine ideal of Siouxsie Sioux, yet mixes in her own grittiness which fits perfectly into her emotionally intense, electronically driven industrial sound.

Experiment Haywire expresses themes of political dissent, female empowerment, war, (internal and external) torture, insanity, contradictory aesthetics, the devaluing of the human condition, and a post-apocalyptic future in this game called life. While EH was originally an avant-garde noise project based on desolate field
recordings at weird hours of the morning (banging, stomping, smashing, kicking, screaming, scrap metal, railroads, broken glass, metal fences, generators, etc.) it soon turned into a rhythmic industrial invasion that incorporated these elements into the harsh and abrasive sound of an electronic punk assault.
Additonally, Experiment Haywire made her European compliation debut with her track "A Game Called Life" on the famous box set anthlogy by Alfa-Matrix Records, Endzeit Bunkertracks III. |

Founded in 2005, Genocidio 1968 is a project based inboth Mexico City as well as in Germany. According to project mastermind Láquesis Lilith on the founding of her project: "It was probably in Mexico City, when a performance was dedicated to me under the name of Santa Inquisición and it was asked of me to make music... or it had been something that had to do with being between plans, but in that time it does not finish it making specific. It was for me to make my music, paintings, or performance a place to impregnate my opinions, my images, then free them on to to the public. Many things I cannot share, because I am not a great speaker, but I hope my work pleases you." |

Hieros Gamos was born in 2002 as a side-project by two members (Gudrun and 677) of the well-known Slovakian dark wave band, Lahka Muza. Lahka Muza is considered by some to be one of the most important and original bands from East and Central Europe dark music scene .They have seven successful albums that feature an original mix of industrial/gothic/electronic music fronted by Gudrun, who sings all tracks in her native language. As for Hieros Gamos, it is pure electro-symphonic-ritual music, based on a minimalist mix of classical music, sampled sounds, and powerful guitars. Combined with the strong and magic voice of Gudrun Snake, it is a hybrid of ritual and opera - a sound that creates a mood rife with strong energy and mystery. The debut album of Hieros Gamos will be like an original jewel for fans of Lahka Muza and for all lovers of powerful, ritual music that can please your ears as well as your eyes. |

A splinter off of the band, Revolution State, the Noizekatt (noizek@t) project started as a drunken idea after a night of DJing at the local club. The club owner had planned a live industrial show for about a month into the future and asked Ben and Bonnie P. if they would like to participate. They declined to participate as Revolution State, feeling that they were not quite ready to unleash that upon the world yet, but we offered up instead to improvise a new project showcasing Bonnie's vocals and Ben P. on synths. The club owner agreed, and for lack of any better ideas at the time, they decided to name the live project Noizekatt; a screen name Bonnie had been using on the internet for some years, and a name they had been throwing around for a side project for awhile.
The first Noizekatt show was so successful with the audience, that the duo decided that it should not be an exclusively live project. That is when they came up with the plan for releasing the Revolution State vs. Noizekatt split EP, combining their favorite Revolution State songs with the new Noizekatt tracks on one CD.
The Noizekatt project still exists today, and it may take on new forms in the future. Perhaps it will even combine with Revolution State completely. So, until next time, keep things noizy! |

Since 1993, Patrice Synthea has zealously dedicated herself to composing and producing synth-based music that espouses a driving sound in which her various inspirations, electro, synth pop, goth, and new wave collide and coalesce. Alongside partner Wrex Mock, Regenerator strives for a modern sound while staying true to their roots, as the twosome have taken influences such as Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Ministry, and Psychedelic Furs and fused them within their own personal style. Regenerator shirk stereotyping. Their music has a positive message, but they don't produce clean-cut pop or preachy rock. Nor do they dress the part. Further, their music reflects the wide range of emotions that we all feel. They can be angry, joyful, somber, blissful, anxious, and hopeful, even about life on a planet that is seemingly on the verge of annihilation. It's a particular theme that crops up from time-to-time. Through Patrice's delicate singing, light meets dark, hope battles despair, jagged edges touch smooth surfaces, and the contrasts make for catchy, danceable tunes. |

San Francisco-based Unwoman, also known as Erica Mulkey, creates darkly beautiful music. Her repertoire is a powerful collage of vocals, cello, and electronics. Matthew Heilman of Starvox.net writes, "Her style ranges from a kind of experimental trip hop to swirling darkwave atmosphere with just enough static and noise to give it that extra technical punch. In July 2005, Unwoman published Wildness & Artifice, a wholly original double-CD featuring a full CD of material, plus a bonus acoustic piano-vocal CD. This followed closely on the heels of the Web-only EP, Artifice and expanded and refined the production techniques of her debut. At the end of 2007 Unwoman released Blossoms, an utterly gorgeous album featuring one half with original electro-acoustic works, and one half with acoustic (mostly cello-vocal) compositions based on poems by Edna St. Vincent Millay. Erica performed in Rasputina at Convergence 12 in New Orleans and in part of their June 2006 US tour. She has also performed with Falling You and Push Dance, among others. In 2007, she recorded sessions for Attrition, Jill Tracy, and Aoede for their upcoming releases. She also stars in a successful Siouxsie and the Banshees tribute band called Spellbound. |
