It’s a sad day when one of our recording artists ends up having an accident in the middle of working on her new album. Angie Maddox of Syrenn was recently taken to the hospital and is currently in debilitating physical pain.
We all hope for her to get better soon. Please send her your best wishes.
Here is a recent review of The Kill House EP that she got from Necromag.
Sexy swirling beats. The Philadelphia industrial act Syrenn lives up perfectly to their name. While holding on to all the cyber-punk discordance people expect from the genre Angie Maddox’s vocals slither through the 4 track E.P. The Kill House promises an electronic act that is not too awash in its own sound to keep them typecast. Syrenn reminds me of The Birthday Massacre without its 80′s bubblegum touches. Undoubtedly musical and coarse in equal measure.

Is there known why she had to go to the hospital? I really don’t know her, I don’t know what she is like, what she expresses, which aims she has but when they are similar to mine she’s needed in society. Currently I don’t feel any commiseration withg her – this is one of the points where I seem to be emotional-dead, it’s unnecessary: I wish you well. And I hope you will find the strength to stand your fears and pain by growing mentally and also physically.
i love it
